The
Perfect Plan
Three
small time crooks, Jake, Tony
and Simon, desperate to escape
their frustrating and unfulfilled lives, plot to kidnap some
valuable laboratory mice and extort a £2 million ransom
from Gilbert Pharmaceuticals, where Jake works as a
security guard.

|
Jake's
masterstroke is to employ a film crew to record their attempt.
If the heist fails, he sells the film - nice little nest egg
for when he gets out of prison.
For
the crew, trapped in the cul-de-sac
of corporate video, this could be their ticket to the big
time.

But
the best laid plans...
The
mice - Colonel, Wiseguy, Stumpy, Pearly,
Scaredy and Nasty - in the tradition of all great
celluloid Prisoners of War, form an escape committee and are
planning their own bid for freedom.

A
Modern Ealing Comedy
Aimed
squarely at 18 - 35 year olds, Labrats takes some of
the finest ingredients from the golden age of British comedy
- warm, colourful characters, quirky situations and gentle
satire - and applies them to a contemporary story to create
an original, inventive and very funny film.
