Played by John Churnside

John came to acting after having already completed 17 years service underground as a fitter in the Lancashire coalfield. A naturally gifted actor, John soon established himself with a number of key roles in productions as diverse as A Street Car Named Desire, Confusions, Little Voice, California Suite, Last of the Red Hot Lovers, To, See How they Run, Viva Viva Regina and On Golden Pond.

Recent TV includes various roles in Brookside and Hollyoaks.
